The Alix is Wai Wai Rio's most commanding silhouette: a rounded rectangular barrel shape in warm amber tortoiseshell acrylic panels, edged in hand-woven natural rattan, accented with cross-stitch detailing in natural cord. A natural bamboo handle, the real thing, jointed and warm and completely unrepeatable, attached through gold-plated rings to a gold double-ball clasp closure that opens with the satisfying click of something made to last. Gold feet at the base. A removable leather shoulder strap for when the evening asks you to move freely.
